  We wanted a decent sized unit. We had 437ltr and 420 ltr. We went for 437lt due to below reasons.1) We did not want the manual control of temperature etc.2) Connected unit.3) We liked the color4) We wanted with the handle so Samsung, Bosch were ruled out5) Width must be lesser than 72 CM.Overall a good buy. Very spacious. Connected features is working well.Why LG? My old LG unit lasted for 16 long years of service without any trouble even after making few intercity relocation. When it comes to refrigerator, LG is my preferred brand.

  I was looking out for a double door refrigerator for my home and had read many reviews of various brands. I visited couple of sites to see the price range and the features offered by different brands like Haier, Panasonic, Bosch, Samsung and LG. What I found was that each brand has a similar product with some price difference due to one or two additional features between the models. However when coming to Indian homes I guess LG and Samsung win the race due to large and widespread market, service centers and availability of spares.Considering all these factors I shortlisted LG and Samsung as the brands from which I will choose the product.Although Samsung products are slightly better looking than others but they are bit overpriced when compared to LG. So I decided to go for this brand and model. (Note: I got this purchase from Flipkart as it was out of stock on Amazon).Now about the product:Pros: - Huge space both in the freezer and bottom fridge. - Has all the essential trays and ample space to store big bottles, juice cans and other food items. - Has door cooling technology which keeps the circulation in place. - Hygiene fresh technology to keep the food fresh for longer periods. - Wi-fi enabled to connect with LG app (still have to figure how to connect with it) - The body is designed in such a way that it does not take too much space but has ample space inside. - Cooling is great as of now...still have to use it for couple of months to decide on performance and energy efficiency.Cons:None as such as I recently got it installed. Still have to use it to find any cons.About the LG service:Firstly I was hesitant whether to purchase such a big appliance online. How will the delivery and installation take place. This all was taken care of by LG Customer Care. Right after my purchase I got a message from LG back end team giving the details of the engineer who will visit and install the fridge at my place and voila within 2 days it was installed.So people who are looking to buy large appliances through online portals please go ahead and do your purchases as you get the best deals, free installation (by the Brand) and assured delivery by Amazon, Flipkart etc.
