You can get 5L of this oil at the same price as 1L of olive oil yet has nearly the same fatty acid composition. It is said that saturated fats are bad for you & unsaturated are good but you've to really read the fine print in order to make health conscious decisions for yourselves & your family.Out of the 2 types of unsaturated fats (not incl. trans fat), monounsaturated (MUFA) fats are the ones that are actually healthy. Polyunsaturated (PUFA) fats are highly unstable & cooking with oils high in PUFA results in oxidation leading to the oil going rancid & unsafe for consumption yet most of the top selling cooking oils are high in PUFA.It's double the cost of your usual refined soybean/sunflower oil but would save you lakhs in medical fees in the future.
