Tea is excellent. You need to make sure that the very little quantity is added per cup as it swells on boiling and will taste bitter if too much is added.Make sure you add jaggery or honey or in the worst case sugar to make it a bit sweet.Other things you should add for 3 cups are - one cardamom, one clove, 8-9 grains of fennel (saunf), 8-10 flakes of saffron (kesar), 3-4 almonds.Take these ingredients and grind them. Boil water add ingredients and tea. In 10 minutes perfect Kahwa will be ready.Serve in transparent glass in moderate quantity to make it more enjoyable.Giving it 4 stars only as the price should be a bit less may be 180 Rs could be best price.

Good tea, no doubt. I thought it was a bit overpriced, but then anyone who has been to Darjeeling knows that Golden Tips is famous for being overpriced.

It tastes bitter as compared to other teas. To avoid that don't steep for lesser time with lesser quantity. Otherwise it is ok

Never buying again from Golden Tips.
V.D.Tiwari (Jan 31, 2018) on Amazon
Its light in strength, and bitter in taste.Whats more, when I ordered for this 200g bag and opened up the contents, took the weight;it was only 100g;hence a deceit.

Not authentic Kashmiri Kahwa
Vamsidhar (Sep 5, 2018) on Amazon
Kashmiri kahwa is a very intense tea with spices. It's taste comes from spices and the leaves itself.1. The leaves used in Goldentips blend are not right for making Kahwa. The original leaves are bit shorter than Kashmiri leaves and smell different when made into tea.(Leaves are more oxidised in Goldentips tips blend which makes them bitter)2. Coming to spices, the spices that are added in Kahwa(cardamom, cinnnamon) have oil in them that give Kahwa it's unique aroma and flavour. Spices used in Goldentips blend have their oil extracted(can tell by tasting them). This itself removes all the aroma from the blend.3. Normally Kashmiri Kahwa leaves are supposed to be added in boiled water but not in boiling water. Since Goldentips blend has more oxidised leaves and oil extracted spices, boiling leaves in tea brings out the flavour in spices but destroys the unique flavour of Kahwa by making leaves bitter.4. If you know how to brew green tea(Kahwa) properly, you might be able to bring out some lite flavour from Goldentips blend without making the leaves bitter.5. If you are drinking your green tea bitter, you have brewed it wrong.Bonus Point: With authentic Kahwa, you can use the same batch of leaves twice or thrice to make the tea. The low oxidisation of leaves, low temperature of boiling water(80-85C) and oil in spices keep the flavour same.
