I usually don't invest a big amount in nail paints like from revlon, Mac, Chanel etc..but from the drugstore brand ie, maybelline, elle 18, lakme true wear, lotus nail paints are my favourite as these are thick enough to give opaque coverage in 1 coat and lasted for 4-5 days without chipping (of course with a base coat and a top coat)
