I wanted barley for it?s reported health benefits including its fibre and positive impact on gut bacteria as well as its slower release of glucoseI have used up two of the five half kg packets bought in one lot.I made dal parathas with it and they are soft and tasty and easy to use.Since barley is also a high carb food a diabetic must restrict quantity consumed.
