Yes, it's bitter. As it clearly says on the box. But we like it, and will reorder

It has bitter herbs in it which is excellent for kick starting the liver and excellent for health. I would recommend steeping one teabag in three cups of water in a vessel or teapot, then chilling the tea to make it seem less bitter.

Yes it is really bitter that is because of the kalmegh. But this is my second box. I take it without sugar or honey and I love it. Now it does not even taste bitter. Cant go to bed without a cup of this tea. A lot of my digestive problems have cured. Thanx to Organic India

The tea is very bitter because of Kalmegh, King of bitters. But the tea is very good for health. It is definitely worth trying if you can brave the bitterness.

A good ready-made herbal mixture.

This is actually not tea its a health drink for good detoxification, with anti aging properties. To reduce bitterness you may add some honey.

If you are looking for tea like product to clean up your colon go for it. It's not a regular tea.

One of the few teas around containing Kalmegh & Bhumyamalaki (Nila-vembu & Kila-Nelli). Both known for their excellent liver support in Ayurveda. This tea is an Ayurvedic powerhouse for detoxifying the body, and makes it so much easier to stomach these bitter herbs.I always take this tea when going on water fasts, to help my liver cope with the detoxifying process.But, I usually cut the bitterness to an acceptable level, by mixing more water than suggested on the box.I tend to drink it from a coffee mug rather than a tea cup.Definitely would recommend to the health conscious. Downed 5 boxes of this stuff so far.

Excellent Product. This product is recommended to all those who have high protein intake, liver & kidney issues. This is an absolute boon created by Organic India. Though, it's bitter but One must not add any sugar/ sweetner because it might ruin it.
