A welcome change from the boring green tea!

Plain green tea becomes boring when you have it day after day and to spice things up, I often try different blends and this was one such experiment. Being a fan of pretty much every ingredient listed here (green tea, orange peel, cinnamon sticks and cloves), trying this was a no-brainer. And while sometimes the experiments are a hit or a miss, this one is a clear hit!The base is green tea and you get a rich green tea flavour interspersed with a wonderful whiff of cinnamon. But it doesn't stop here. The cinnamon manages to offset the bitterness of the green tea to a great extent (although not completely so do expect the characteristic green tea bitterness to persist) and the addition of orange peel hits the right citrus-y notes elevating what would have been a very ordinary tea to a divine experience! The cloves did not do much for me and were lost in the blend but their health benefits make their addition a welcome affair.The ratio of the ingredients seems perfect. There's no token addition of any ingredient just to mention it for marketing purposes; all the spices and the orange peel are generous in proportion. And that's what makes this a superior blend.For me this is an afternoon tea. When my energy levels begin to dip and sluggishness sets in, this is just the tea I need to kick away inertia (the orange peels deserve extra credit in this department)!Bottomline, this is a good blend especially if you're tired of your routine green tea. The health benefits of the accompanying ingredients are the cherry on the cake!

If you like flavoured tea you will like this one as it has real bits of orange and cinnamon, no added flavors. Just don't steep it too long, or it will taste bitter because of the orange peel. Very refreshing and fragrant. Packaging wise it's flawless too, foil wrapped

This is a good mix of flavours though for me the cinnamon is a bit too strong. I would have preferred the orange to be stronger. All in all, a good blend

Bitter to taste if infused for a wee bit longer definitely not for the amateurs

The quantity of orange peels and cinnamon is small compared to the green tea quantity. So, the flavour of green tea is more pronounced and it is bitter. Have to gulp it down like medicine unlike the memory zest tea which tastes peppermintish. There is no stevia too to sweeten it and tried to add stevia which made the concoction even more disgusting. So, would advise small amounts in infusion and maximum of a minute for the bitter taste not to seep in and cause torture.Will update the effects with use but this is definitely not my cuppa infusion. My matcha tea seems like heaven( and believe me,lots call it bitter). So, would not recommend it to anyone who hates bitter. Wish that the orange peels and cinnamon were in bigger quantity to make this more tolerable
