• Absolute rubbish quality !

  -Felt Flipkart started selling quality rejected items. The piece what I got had rusted pipes, decolourized plastic body, Sticky Electric Cables for a product manufactured in Aug 2018. Confirmed the serial number both in the box & the unit. Since this is a replacement unit & I have waited for already 2 weeks, did not go for replacement again. -There no mounting instruction, no screws & pegs supplied. -False claim in the user manual for the standing losses when compared in BEE web site. In reality, if you heat it up at night & switch it off, in the morning, you will get room temperature water. I have AO Smith which retains the heat for 2 days even after its power is cut off. - Keep in mind, this unit needs maintenance done by authorized service center for every 6 months to retain warranty. You have to replace the anode rod twice in a year, which cost about 1000 rupees + Service center fee of 800 Rupees. Where as my AO Smith is still running trouble free for last 8 years in the same soft water with ZERO maintenance. - Heating is almost instant, in 10 minutes it can heat the water from 17 Deg C to 45 Deg C. But the pressure in the pipe line is increasing dangerously high & it starts leaking when the thermostat is kept at full 100% position. The supplied pressure relief is not function properly. I have to drain little bit of water to reduce the pressure & stop the leak. I'm OK with this manual pressure reduction -rater than the heater turning into a bomb an splashing boiling hot water on the person taking bath. - Will I buy it again / recommend to friends and family? Definitely NO !
